Vectors??? I really don't understand this lesson. But I know the steps in how to get them...
First is the Graphical Method
1. First analyze the problem and decide what scale your gonna use. The scale should be equal and not very distant to each other for easy conversion.
2. Draw the first vector.
3. The second vector should start just at the end of the first vector and so on until the last vector.
4. The resultant vector is equal to the length of the last vector connected directly to the point of origin. So, measure it and it should equal to the resultant vector.
The other method is known as the Component Method
1. First find the x and y component of the given vetor. Determine the direction if needed.
2. Add all the x components and also add all the y components
3. Get the resultant vector by using the Pythagorean Theorem.
4. Determine whether the resultant vector is positive or negative
5. Don't forget to use the sci cal for easier calculations :)
